However, due to the prevalence of illegal wiretapping and information leaks in our society, serious human rights violations are occurring, and the free formation of individuals' lives is being threatened.
To fundamentally eliminate the potential for infringement of these basic rights, the8 ENT is committed to thoroughly protecting the privacy of its members and ensuring freedom of communication in an information-oriented society.
This privacy policy is specified as follows.
The8 ENT's privacy policy is subject to change according to modifications in government laws and guidelines and changes in the company’s policies.

The purpose of collecting personal information from the8 ENT members is to provide members with customized services through the8 ENT's website.
We offer a variety of content, both free and paid.
The personal information provided by members allows us to selectively provide more useful information.
Furthermore, we display advertisements to offer various services.
Even in such cases, advertisements of higher relevance can be selectively delivered based on members' information, thus enhancing their value.
Upon initial registration, the8 ENT collects the most essential personal information for providing services.
The information collected at registration includes members' date of birth, ID, marital status, nickname, referrer ID, password, name, email, address, phone number, and mobile phone number.
In addition to this, further information may be requested to provide specific services, such as mobile numbers for realname verification and additional information necessary for service provision.

While members of the8 ENT use the services provided, the company will retain and use their personal information to provide services.
However, if a member deletes their ID or requests cancellation according to the procedures described in '7. Access, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information,' or if the
purpose for which the personal information was provided is fulfilled, the collected personal information will be permanently deleted from the hard disk in an unrecoverable manner and will not be accessible or
usable for any purpose.
As a rule, the8 ENT does not disclose members' personal information to third parties or other institutions.
However, if a member agrees to disclosure, or if there is sufficient reason to believe that a member has violated the terms of service or engaged in unlawful behavior that could harm others or breach public morals, personal information may be disclosed for legal action.
The8 ENT may share members' personal information with business partners to provide better services.
In such cases, members will be informed in advance about the business partner, the type of information required, why it is needed, how it will be protected/managed, and until when it will be retained, and consent will be obtained.
If the member does not consent, no additional information will be collected or shared with the business partner.
Personal information is not provided to advertising agencies evenwhen advertisements are targeted at groups based on specific conditions such as gender or age.
For statistical processing, academic research, or market research purposes, information is provided only in a nonidentifiable form.
To provide members with personalized and customized services, the8 ENT uses 'cookies' to store and retrieve members' information.
Cookies are small data packets sent by the server operating the website to the user's browser, which are stored on the hard disk of the member's computer.
To use personalized and customized services on the8 ENT, cookies must be enabled.
Cookies allow the8 ENT to retrieve information on members' IDs, enabling it to provide more suitable and useful services.

The8 ENT uses antivirus programs to prevent damage from computer viruses.
The antivirus program is updated regularly, and any new virus outbreaks are immediately addressed with the latest antivirus software to prevent personal information from being compromised.
To prevent personal information from being leaked due to hacking, the8 ENT uses a system to block external intrusion, thereby preventing attacks and hacking attempts.
Each server is equipped with an intrusion detection system that monitors for intrusions 24 hours a day.
In addition, the8 ENT limits access to personal information to a minimum number of employees, conducts regular training on this policy, and verifies compliance through audits conducted by the audit committee.

Children under 14 should not send personal information to others without parental permission.
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account passwords.
The8 ENT will never ask for a member's password via email or any other means, so members should never disclose it under any circumstances.
When logged in, members should be particularly careful to prevent personal information from being disclosed to others nearby.
